2019-2020 FULLBRIGHT TEA PROGRAM 

                      Announcement

The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (Fulbright TEA) brings international, secondary-level teachers to the United States for a six-week program. Teachers take academic seminars for professional development at a host university. They observe classrooms and share their expertise with teachers and students at the host university and at local secondary schools.

Depending on country of origin, international teachers have the opportunity to apply to either the Fulbright TEA General Pedagogy Cohort or the Media Literacy Cohort.

We are so happy to announce the arrival of our new Peace Corps volunteer! 

This is Jenise McCollum and she is a Youth Development Programme volunteer of Peace Corps. She is going to spend two years in Ukraine working with teachers and students of our Gymnasium. Wishing you a good start in a new place!

                                             PUZZLE - 2018

З метою впровадження нових форм роботи з обдарованою учнівською молоддю та розвитку творчих здібностей учнів Творча група «ПАЗЛ» щорічно з 2011 року проводить Всеукраїнську гру з англійської мови «РUZZLE», в якій приймають участь учні 3-11 класів із навчальних закладів України.
Всеукраїнську гру з англійської мови «PUZZLE» у 2017/2018 навчальному році було проведено 22 лютого 2018 року.
Гру розроблено для активного залучення учнівської молоді до вивчення англійської мови, літератури, історії. Вона сприяє формуванню стійкої зацікавленості в учнів усією лінійкою англомовної тематики, допомагає вчителям англійської мови умотивувати активне вивчення англійської мови, підвищує інтерес дітей до читання найкращих зразків англійської літератури в оригіналі, а також допомагає учням старших класів здобути навики роботи із тестовими формами контролю. Зміст Гри складають завдання з англійської мови, літератури та країнознавства (культури), які потребують певної ерудиції, кмітливості, уважності, зосередження й, безумовно, почуття гумору. Звертаємо вашу увагу, що проведення Всеукраїнської гри з англійської мови «PUZZLE» схвалено Малою академією наук України Міністерства освіти і науки України.

Congratulations on the Independence Day of Ukraine!

August 24, 1991 - Ukraine's Independence Day - is one of the most important dates in recent European history. Finally, the Ukrainian people realized the original desire to create an independent conciliar democratic Ukrainian state and live freely, sharing common national and European values, caring for the security and well-being of the people, as befits a great European nation.

It is appropriate that in the first year of independence Ukraine announced its intention to join the Council of Europe. It testified to its democratic choice, its desire for reforms aimed at protecting human rights, strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring the rule of law. And this year Ukraine celebrates the 22th anniversary of joining the Council of Europe, which became an essential milestone in the European progress of the independent Ukrainian state and the development of the Council of Europe.

We sincerely congratulate Ukrainians on the main national holiday and wish them peace, happiness, joy and prosperity!
